About
I hold a Masters in Publishing from City St. George’s University of London, and two Bachelors in Philosophy and World Literature and Culture from UC Santa Cruz. Reading is as engaging as solving a puzzle with no solution, as the journey to understanding the author and how they can get to the story they want to be told is the reward in and of itself.
I have worked in higher education and teaching English as a second language in language schools and in primary schools while living in Japan. I have provided feedback for submissions at Southland Alibi and have supported students at the university level in their writing and their career mapping within higher education.
My favorite genres to read are adult fantasy, historical fiction, literary fiction, and contemporary romance. I enjoy books geared towards YA and middle grade audiences, and have a great appreciation for autobiographical graphic novels and horror manga.
